Rental Policy

  • Fine China is NOT Dishwasher nor Microwave safe. There’s no need to wash the dishes when your event is done. We will take care of the washing for you. We only ask that items be emptied and dried and that food be wiped off (not scraped off) before being repackaged into our containers.
  • Please keep in mind that our items are vintage, sometimes many decades or even a century old, so most are going to have some wear, imperfections and signs of age and that mostly adds to their charm and appeal.
  • We strongly recommend reserving your rental items as soon as possible to guarantee availability. To do so, a non-refundable reservation fee of 50% is required. You can still adjust what is on your contract afterwards, based on availability, but you cannot remove items from your rental contract as we would have held those items for your event.
  • Full payment will be due one week prior to your event date.
  • A refundable 10% damage deposit will be applied to your order. This deposit will be refunded upon the return of the items and after completion of the inspection process. Should any of the items be damaged or missing, the full replacement value for those items will be deducted from the deposit. If the replacement value exceeds the deposit amount, additional payment will be required.
  • Signature & photo ID are required upon pick-up or delivery.
  • We usually deliver the night before your event and pick-up the night after. Same time frame applies if you decide to pick-up & return the items yourself.
  • We accept e-transfer, cash and credit card. Credit card payments are subject to a 4% surcharge. No matter what method of payment is used, a credit card is required on file to secure the rental.
